Documenting Amanda and Cole’s wedding day at various places throughout the hometown that their love began added such a charming and personal touch. The comfort and ease they both posses when together was so evident, and their chemistry made shooting with the two of them very natural and candid. Their marriage was made official within the same four walls that both of Amanda’s siblings were married in, and where Amanda grew up worshipping as a child. It was a lovely ceremony to witness, and such a great party after! I hope you all enjoy this preview.

“Cole and I met when we were 16 through mutual friends. We actually lived in the same town but went to different high schools. Cole was a grade behind me, so I went off to college before he did. We lived in different towns for several years while dating. We have basically grown up together and our relationship has grown so much as well!” – Amanda

“I knew that Cole was going to propose soon but I had no idea when. Somehow he managed to surprise me despite how nosy I am! I went to Corinth for the weekend (our hometown) because my sister was coming in from out of town for a “baby shower” for her friend. Cole planned a dinner date with one of our couple friends for Saturday night. My sister was getting ready for the “shower” while I was getting ready at the same time for what I thought was a dinner date! Obviously, there was no baby shower, but I was so convinced! At the last minute, Cole called me and said he was “running late” and that my friend and her fiancé were going to pick me up. They drove me to where Cole was – the front of a beautiful wedding venue where he was standing. I was so shocked. After, he surprised me again with an engagement party with all of our friends and family. It was one of the sweetest days ever!” – Amanda

“I was a little stressed while we were getting ready because I wanted to make sure we were on time for everything! But when I saw Cole during our first look, I instantly felt a lot calmer! I was able to enjoy the day so much more after that.” – Amanda

“I always dreamed of my wedding as being one of the happiest and most magical days of my life, and it truly was!” – Amanda

“One very special detail that meant a lot to me was that I was able to include my two year old niece and nephew in the wedding party. I love them both so much, and they made the cutest flower girl and ring bearer! I also felt our wedding was so special because we have been together for so long. It was so sweet to finally be married after dating for 8 years. As some of our friends told us, it was ‘about time!'” – Amanda

“I wanted our wedding to be very classic and elegant. I chose neutral colors with lots of gold touches!” – Amanda

“Cole is truly my best friend. He is the type of person who can get along with anyone and can make anyone in the room feel comfortable just because of how friendly he is! He is truly the most selfless person. Our relationship is so fun because we are always laughing together.” – Amanda

“I walked down the aisle to the same song my mom walked to! Also, I chose the same recessional song that my parents had in their wedding. Another sweet tradition was that Cole and I got married in the church I grew up in, by the pastor I had all through my childhood. My older brother and sister also got married in our church by the same pastor. I wore the veil that my sister wore in her wedding. This was so special to both of us.” – Amanda

“My wedding planner/coordinator Virginia-Boyd kept me sane throughout the whole process! Also, I have to brag on Mackenzie! She did an amazing job dealing with our crew – so thankful for her!!” – Amanda

“One of my favorite parts of the day was that we got to have a private dinner before the reception. We left the church in our getaway car and my planner snuck us in a side door at the venue so no one could see us yet. It was so nice for us to just relax alone together for a few minutes before celebrating with our friends and family!” – Amanda

“I wanted our wedding to have details that felt like us. We chose a lime margarita for our signature cocktail because that is our favorite go-to drink! We hand picked the menu as well and included some of our favorites, like chicken strips and mac and cheese.” – Amanda

“The best advice I received was that at the end of the day, you will still be married. Don’t stress over the small things.” – Amanda

“My advice to future brides would be to enjoy the planning and all of the wedding festivities! It is such a sweet time of life. And don’t get so caught up in the small details that you forget what the day is all about – marrying the love of your life! Cherish this time! This is the only time that you will have all of your family and closest friends together!” – Amanda
