“One of my most recent, favorite memories was the night my roommate and I decided to room together. It was a  moment that felt so surreal and meant to be as we were literally jumping up and down and squealing! It also made me just 10 times more excited than I already was to attend Ole Miss.” – Laurian

“In my free time, I like to ride around with my friends listening to music and just spend time with them in general. One of my favorites things is how my friends and I have made a point to get together and get dinner every other week. I love to go to concerts and go out to eat and basically find any reason to dress up!” – Laurian

“My advice to incoming freshmen would be that it’s okay (& perfectly normal) to miss out on things! While I would also say ‘savor every moment’, it’s okay to skip out on something just to take a break. I love being social, but I know myself, and I know when I need to stay home to take a break from life. On the flip side, go to and do everything you can! I’ve had an incredibly fun high school experience, and I wouldn’t want it any other  way. You don’t want to look back and wish you had done more when you had the chance!!! Also, don’t be afraid to talk to people around you at school- your whole life can  change because of a seating chart!!!” – Laurian

“I plan on going to Ole Miss! I always thought I’d go somewhere that wasn’t so familiar to me, but Ole Miss has turned out to be such a place of comfort for me, and I could not be more excited!” – Laurian

“I can’t wait to finally experience the things I see on social media. For years, I’ve always seen older girls’ posts and  instantly gotten jealous that they were already in college. I can’t wait to finally be old enough to be one of those  girls I used to look up to and wanted to be!” – Laurian

“I plan on double majoring in Accounting and Business. These two majors are tracks I’ve always kind of known I would follow. That, and I’ve always been good at (and loved) math. I’m good with numbers, and they’ve just always made sense to me.” – Laurian

I absolutely LOVED my senior portrait session. Mackenzie made me feel so incredibly comfortable and was so encouraging the whole time.  Leaving my session, I felt so assured I’d have many favorites to chose from, and many I would cherish forever!” – Laurian
