Molly + Wes | Romantic Calvary Episcopal and Memphis Country Club Wedding

We love the Crenshaw family, so when Molly contacted us to shoot her and Wes’ wedding, we were so excited! After meeting Wes, we understand why Molly is so in love with him. He and his family are a perfect addition to the Crenshaw family. Wes and Molly both have exuberant, happy personalities, and I hope that shows in these photographs. Their perfect day ended with a hella party where Wes and Molly never left the dance floor.

Wes and Molly, thanks so much for asking us to be a part of this wonderful day! We had so much fun working with you.

“Wes and I met the first week of our freshman year of college at a party, but we didn’t start dating until after we saw each other at a wedding ten years later.” – Molly

“Wes proposed to me outside by a beautiful lake in Mississippi. He had my whole family in on the plan. I thought my dad’s car had broken down by the lake, so I went to pick him up. When I arrived at the lake, I saw Wes sitting at a table with champagne and flowers. It was just us, and it was perfect.” – Molly

“The veil I wore was originally worn by my sister and has since been passed down to each girl in our extended family, and several of our friends.” – Molly

“We had so many wonderful vendors, but I especially want to brag on Greg at the Garden District. Greg is unbelievably talented. He is so easy to work with, and he can bring any vision you have to life. Our wedding planner, Audrey Hurst, was fantastic. She helped the day run so smoothly. Wes and I did not feel any stress whatsoever because we knew she had it handled. Taylor Square Photography was also wonderful to work with.” – Molly

“Before I walked down the aisle, my bridesmaids all said a prayer over Wes and me and my marriage. It was very sweet and special.” – Molly

“One of the funniest moments of the wedding ceremony was when our ring-bearer, my 2-year-old nephew, threw the ring-bearer pillow and stormed down the aisle in a full-on 2-year-old tantrum.” – Molly

“Our first dances were upbeat and fun. Wes and I danced to ‘You Make Me Feel Like Dancing.’ Since I was a little girl, I have dreamed of dancing with my dad to ‘Good Golly Miss Molly,’ and that will always be one of my favorite moments with my dad.” – Molly

“What surprised me most about our wedding day was that I felt relaxed and present all day. I thought I’d be nervous and anxious, but instead, I felt calm and very loved and supported.” – Molly

“I have three small pieces of advice for all future brides:

  1. It’s not about the wedding; it’s about the marriage.

  2. Stay with your groom the entire reception, don’t get separated.

  3. It’s over in the blink of an eye, so try to slow yourself down and take in each and every detail, face, and moment that you can.” – Molly
