Chandler-Grace and Nick’s wedding opened our summer season with warm, May sunshine. Their intimate ceremony preceded a lively reception at Memphis’s Pink Palace Museum (made complete by Nick’s love for dancing!).
We loved spending time with these two, and can’t wait for you to hear their love story. All the best to the Rolfes! – Ann-Marie
“We met freshman year at Ole Miss through a mutual friend. We went to dinner at Toyo, a hibachi restaurant in Oxford. My original idea of Firehouse Subs was quickly shot down by one of her bridesmaids. There was not a silent moment at dinner or in my old truck even though the radio didn’t work. I knew then we were meant to be together simply because of how easy spending time with each other was.” – Nick
“Our relationship is built on laughter and fun times, solidified by a deep connection from the moment we met. We get each other and make each other better people, a hallmark trait for strong relationships. There is never a dull moment or a quiet room with us two.” – Chandler-Grace
“I knew the only way I could get Chandler-Grace into a nice dress would be to convince her we were going to an important wedding shower. CG is extremely hard to surprise so my parents essentially set up and decorated their house for weeks for a “Wedding Shower” for a relative. In reality, they were setting up the engagement party for CG and I, following our engagement which occurred at the beautiful Brownland Farms. The tricky part was getting CG to the estate without her knowing I was about to get down on one knee. My mom had called and asked us to pick up flowers. After we got engaged, we drove to my parents house and hundreds of our friends and family were there to celebrate.” -Nick
“We truly believe the people who were a part of our wedding made it special. These people all played a part in both of our lives in so many unique ways and that culmination of memories and friendships made our wedding day special.” – Nick
“My wedding was everything I dreamt of and more. We knew we would be inviting a lot of people to the wedding, so naturally we chose The Pink Palace for our reception. The venue included multiple rooms, which allowed us to create a different ambience in each room. The room with the wedding cake was termed “CG’s” room, which included drapes covering the whole room, creating a romantic atmosphere. The mantle was draped with lots of beautiful flowers.” – Chandler-Grace
“I wore my grandmother’s beautiful earrings on wedding day. They are very special and have been in the family for multiple generations. Also, I used my great grandfather’s handkerchief around my bouquet and I wore my mothers garter with a sixpence in the little blue pocket that she had received as a token of good luck on her wedding day.” – Chandler-Grace
“Chandler-Grace is a fun and energetic person who brightens my day with her incredible smile and laughter. Her positive view on life and hard-working mentality is the perfect combination any husband would want in their wife. Her loving personality is ever-present and the unconditional care she shows me is remarkable. She makes me strive to be a better person and work hard in my career. She is my person.” – Nick
“If I could relive one moment from the wedding again it would be the Bride’s entrance during the ceremony. I was so caught up in emotions that I would choose to see Chandler-Grace walking down the aisle one last time.” – Nick
“Lee and Jon from L & Jay Productions were so amazing to work with. They helped create my vision of each room come to life.” – Chandler-Grace
“We wrote each other letters and read them on our wedding day. This was a tradition that we both decided to take part in from the beginning of the wedding process because we have shared our love through the usage of words and letters for 6 years.” – Nick
“I thought the layout of Pink Palace was perfect and seemed like a Great Gatsby party. I was most surprised to see all of the work CG put into one of the rooms designated for me. She made my grooms cake the Nissan Stadium which looked like a replica of the actual stadium with so many details. I grew up going to Titans’ games and CG knows how much I love them. Some other cool things in this room included a T.V. of Titan highlights and koozies made with the Retro Titans logo and our names. Also, the “Rolfe” hats at the end of the night were a big hit!” – Nick
“Nick’s” room was the most fun to plan. I wanted this room to be everything about him. If you know Nick at all he absolutely loves the Titans so we made the groom’s cake portray Nissan Stadium where the Tennessee Titans play in Nashville. There was a cedar bar in the room which further displayed a masculine feel in the room. And then there was the tv playing Titans highlights. We even had some koozies made that included the retro Titans symbol and our wedding date.” – Chandler-Grace
“Nick loves to dance at any party or wedding we attend. He was able to get in the center of the dance floor and dance all night.” – Chandler-Grace
“The band played in the ballroom where our guests were able to dance and enjoy some beverages all night. We had many props given out throughout the night. It was the best night and I’m beyond thankful for my parents to help my dream wedding become reality.”– Chandler-Grace
