I knew Mary Gunn and Reed’s winter wedding was going to be a dream.  She has impeccable taste and it absolutely showed through in her wedding day design.  Kelly Freeland, of Southern Bloom Weddings, did an amazing job of bringing Mary Gunn’s winter wedding day vision into a reality.  Mary Gunn said she had been saving pictures on Pinterest of what she wanted her day to look like for years!  She gave them to Kelly and she did an amazing job putting together exactly what she wanted. 

“Wearing the wedding bands of both of my grandmother’s on my right hand made my day special.  My mom’s mom passed away 5 years ago and my dad’s mom is in assisted living and was not able to attend. I had a special relationship with both of my grandmother’s so it meant a lot for me to have a little part of them and their wedding day present for my wedding day.” -Mary Gunn 

Reed’s gift to Mary Gunn was a stunning sapphire and diamond ring that matched her necklace.

Reed said one of his favorite things about the day was that he and Mary Gunn chose to do a first-look.  He loved seeing her with no one else around and then getting to spend the rest of the afternoon with her and the wedding party.  (He is definitely a man after my own heart lol)

“I have always loved weddings! I was was a flower girl in a few weddings when I was little and thought it was so neat to have a whole day that was for getting dressed up and having you hair and make-up done all while being surrounded by your closest friends. Growing up I was never the girl that just had to have a boyfriend or wanted to date, but I still dreamed about having a wedding, but never really thought that dream would become a reality. My wedding surpassed those ideas I had in my head and was the absolute most perfect day!” – Mary Gunn

“I cannot wait to see our wedding video and view any pictures of our flower girls and ring bearer coming out. The doors were closed so I had no clue anything was going on, but my flower girls and ring bearer (5-year-old triplets) walked out and were all excited to throw the rose petals and carry the ring box until they freaked out and would not move. They were trying to push the other to go first and then all of a sudden the domino effect and they all started crying. My ring bearer later told me “Gee, I promise I will do better at your next wedding”   – Mary Gunn

“My favorite moment was our first dance. Hearing the song we chose being played and having everyone watch us dance our first dance as husband and wife was a very special and memorable moment.” – Reed

“I hit the jackpot with all of my vendors! They all made the planning process so easy and I can’t say enough how perfect the day of the wedding was. My photographer and videographer get the award for helping me keep my cool when things were starting to stress me out!! I felt like everyone was excited to be there and was friendly and kept me laughing!” – Mary Gunn
