Reagan and John Kyle have known each other for most of their lives, but their love story didn’t begin until Reagan’s sophomore year at the University of Mississippi. John Kyle planned their first date at the venue they’d later marry at.

Whether through family prayer at the ceremony or a final, private dance at their reception, Reagan and John Kyle’s wedding day was characterized by reverence. It was a privilege to serve them and their families. To many years of joy together! — Ann-Marie

“I am a very simple person! When I dreamed about my wedding day, it was to stand at the altar with the man of my dreams, surrounded by my family and close friends. It was the perfect day!” — Reagan

“I adore mine and John Kyle’s story because it started unexpectedly out of one one of my most precious friendships. His sister, Leah, has been one of my best friends since early childhood! It was during my sophomore year at Ole Miss that John Kyle reached out to ask me out on a date. He was living in Oxford while working on staff for the Ole Miss Football team.”— Reagan

“On June 19, 2021, John Kyle invited me to join him at a coaches lunch with football staff from Ole Miss in Oxford. I figured this was a great opportunity for him to get together with old work friends and thought nothing else of it. Turns out we made it to Oxford ahead of schedule so he wanted to ‘make a stop’ at our favorite meeting place Rowan Oak. When dating, we would meet there often to walk and talk and have so many wonderful memories from this place! He hired a photographer to take pictures of us while walking around and totally surprised me when getting down on one knee asking me to marry him! We drove to my parent’s home immediately after in Ridgeland, Miss., for a surprise Engagement party for a beautiful celebration with family and friends. It was super special!” — Reagan

“Many things made [our wedding day] special but one of the most is that Jefferson is where we had our first date together all those years ago in Oxford. He was my date to one of my sorority formals so we knew when trying to decide where to marry, The Jefferson was our first choice!” — Reagan

“Being a destination wedding [made our wedding unique]. I am from Ridgeland, Miss,. and he is from Pelahatchie, Miss. We were so happy to see so many of our family and friends from all over travel on this holiday weekend to share in our special day!” — Reagan

“With us planning a wedding in a different city, my mom and I were a little hesitant how it would all plan out. We had some of the BEST vendors in Oxford, Mississippi!” — Reagan

“We were told early on we had the dream team in Taylor Square Photography and Feather Stone Weddings for the videography and I know they will not disappoint! Their work is amazing and I cannot wait to see what they have captured for our day!” — Reagan

“Most of the groomsmen have been a part of each other’s weddings. They have a tradition when reaching the altar, to shake the groom’s hand and leave something silly in the palm of his hand. No one else is aware of what is going on but the two of them. Many funny looks and some laughter exchanged as this was happening, so those up front knew something was going on. One by one, they were leaving golf tees in John Kyle’s hand with the last groomsman leaving the golf ball. I was wondering why there was a golf tee or two on the ground as we prayed but wasn’t told of this  tradition until the reception.” — Reagan

“Ellen Thomas and Maddie Rankins with Ellen Thomas Event Design helped immensely in pulling my vision together for a perfect day! They took all the stress out of the planning and were super fun to work with!” — Reagan

“I wanted to have that priceless moment when he saw me for the first time that day walking down the aisle. It was well worth that special moment!” — Reagan

“We had our parents surround us and pray over us after we finished the sand unity portion of our service. My brother, Chase and my sister in law, Whitney, did this in their wedding ceremony and it was so special that I wanted to include it in our wedding service. We also chose not to do the popular ‘first look,’  but to keep with tradition and not see each other until the moment I walked down the aisle.” — Reagan

“So pleased with all the arrangements and creations from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour and into the reception created by Oxford Floral. We still have guests saying how amazing it all looked!” — Reagan

“I had a bridal breakfast the day of the wedding at the Isom Place in Oxford and received so many special things to incorporate in my day. My mom had a handkerchief made with my new name on it and pearls sewn around it from her wedding dress. I tucked it away that day in my bridal bouquet.  We also were able to use my parent’s cake and knife server from their wedding day over 33 years ago so that waa an extra special touch!” — Reagan

“Like I said, I am a very simple person. I went for a very classic, timeless and elegant design. White flowers, linens with white and clear chairs with lots of floating and votive candles everywhere.” — Reagan
