“My favorite memory from high school would be my sophomore year when our football team won the state championship. We had multiple buses filled with the whole student body to go down to Hattiesburg to support the team, and being on the cheer team I had the best seat in the house. It was probably one of the most intense games I’ve ever been too. At halftime the score was 21-0 Oak Grove and everyone was doubtful. The team came out after half and scored 31 points claiming the 2019 State championship title. The energy was electric and I’ve never felt more joy in my entire life.” – Beckham

“The best advice I can offer to any incoming freshmen would be to surround yourself with people who will bring you up and that you can be yourself around. High school can be brutal, but if you have a good support system it makes it seem like less of a challenge.” – Beckham

“My favorite things are to spend time with my cat and mom because they are both my pride and joy. I also love to spend time with my friends and go to TCBY to get orange ice cream. I love to cheer and tumble and I try to go to the gym as much as possible. I love watching movies and shows with my mom and cat.” – Beckham

“I loved my senior portrait session. Mackenzie was awesome and she made me feel like a model. I feel like I can look really awkward in pictures sometimes, but she made me feel so comfortable and confident. My mom is also my biggest fan and she was with me which made me so happy and made it feel more natural. I chose spots that held some kind of memories or sentiment to me so I didn’t feel as awkward. Overall, 10/10 experience and I loved every second of it.” – Beckham

“I plan to attend the University of Mississippi and major in Psychology and minor in English. I’m super interested in figuring out the way that people think and what drives them. I want to be able to help others open up and have an understanding of the reasons behind the choices that people make.” – Beckham

“I’m most excited to meet new people and grow closer with the people I already know. I’m ready to start a new chapter in my life and can’t wait to enjoy every moment.” – Beckham
