So many people had been anticipating Connor and Judson’s wedding day. This sweet couple had to postpone their wedding due to the pandemic, and in doing so, they were able to be the very first wedding shot at Connor’s family’s new venue, The Robinshaw. This venue was such a treat to have a free creative reign at, and I cannot wait to see all of the memories that continue to be made there throughout the years.

Connor and Judson, thank you for trusting us to capture your wedding day. It was long awaited, and well worth the wait. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness!

“Judson and I met at The University of Alabama where we both attended college. We actually met the very first weekend we were dropped off for our freshman year, but Judson played baseball so he had a much different schedule than I did! Judson was injured so that changed the course for him, and that is when we became best friends, and we remained friends, until summer going into our senior year when we realized we really love one another! We started dating almost immediately and dated for 5 years. Judson proposed a few days before Christmas by putting a collar on our dog Chief, who we love so so much, and had a tag made asking me to marry dad! It was so perfect and set the tone for our 980 day engagement! We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID almost a year and a half out from our original date, so that made our wedding even more special and finally being able to celebrate with all of our friends and family who we love so much!

It might be one of the longest engagements, but I loved every minute of it, and I will cherish the memories we made during that time forever!” – Connor

“I really wanted the wedding design to compliment the beautiful venue we were getting married in! The tall white ceilings, with glass doors bring in so much natural light and all of the floating candles and white florals with a subtle hint of blue was stunning and everything and more than I have ever dreamed!” – Connor

“All of our vendors were amazing! It wouldn’t have been possible without Ashley Lang Events! The flowers were beautiful, the food and cake were the best I have ever had, the band was incredible and had everyone dancing, and we all looked so beautiful thanks to our amazing hair stylists and makeup artists.” – Connor

“My advice to future brides would be not to spread yourself too thin and try and take on too many things! The day will be perfect either way, so trust the process and soak up every moment of the whole weekend because it goes by too fast!” – Connor

“I am forever grateful to my parents for the fairytale wedding I always dreamed of, and getting to marry the love of my life and celebrate with all of our friends and family! We have a large tribe, and it was so worth the wait to have them all there!” – Connor
