Every wedding is special in its own way. Some weddings are more emotional, some more fun, but all of them find a way to tug at our heart strings in one way or another. Danni and Gage’s wedding did exactly that. It was a day full of belly laughs, tears, and moments that remind me why I love shooting weddings so much. Danni’s father hand built the cross that they stood in front of and made their lifelong promises to each other. It was so beautiful to have something with so much meaning behind it as the focal point of the day.
I am so excited to share these photos with all of you. Danni and Gage, thank you both for trusting us to document your day. It was one I will always remember with a smile.

“Gage and I met on the first day of class our freshman year of high school. I transferred from another school and did not know anyone. Later that school year, I became best friends with Gage’s stepsister, Kaylee. When Kaylee and I would hangout at their house, Gage would sometimes join us. Over the next several months, I found myself enjoying Gage’s company because he was funny and easy going.” -Danni
“After occasionally spending time around Danni, I began to notice an attraction for her. We took our first picture together on my birthday on July 27, 2013. Danni and I started dating a month later, and we would go on double dates with my sister and her boyfriend at the time. Our first date was ice skating at the Mid-South Ice House in Olive Branch, MS, where we still laugh at the most awkward picture we have ever taken together.” -Gage
“During the summer of 2020, I told Gage that I wanted to go on a picnic date one day. Gage remembered this and planned a picnic along the Mississippi River to celebrate our 7 year anniversary. Bluff City Garden Parties set up our picnic with lights and rose petals. Gage had his sister, Kaylee, hide behind a tree to capture the proposal. During the picnic, Gage got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. After the emotional moment, we went back to his house where both of our families were waiting to celebrate.” -DanniÂ
“Every single vendor that we used for our wedding was AMAZING! They took my visions for the wedding and brought them to life. Jessica Mathias did a great job on my hair and makeup. She ensured through quite a few hair trials that IÂ absolutely loved my hair. Â When the wedding day came, she exceeded my expectations.” -Danni
“Our wedding day was so special to us because our friends and family came together to celebrate our marriage. Many people traveled several hours to be with us on our special day, and we will forever be grateful for them. – The Goodwins
“My inspiration for my wedding was simple and classic. I wanted everything to be bright with lots of natural light. Our venue, along with our wonderful vendors, made this dream come true! Our wedding could not have been more beautiful!” – Danni
“I’m a perfectionist and wanted to make sure everything went exactly as planned on my wedding day. I was so surprised at how relaxed I was throughout the day. Everything went as planned and turned out to be exactly how I dreamed it would be.” -Danni
“Gage and I are high school sweethearts and started dating in 2013. We went from seeing each other every day during high school to seeing each other every other month during our 4 years at college. What started off as two 16 year olds dating, turned into a lifelong love story.” -Danni
“My advice for other brides is to sit back and enjoy your day. Don’t sweat the small stuff because your wedding will be perfect no matter what!” -Danni
“The best advice I received as a bride was to make sure that Gage and I ate during our wedding. Countless of brides told me that they did not eat at all during their wedding day. Castle Hill provided us with a private room for Gage and I to eat our first dinner together as a married couple. As we sat together and ate alone, we were able to spend that special time together to reflect on our wedding ceremony and enjoy the wonderful food provided by Castle Hill. I will cherish this memory forever!” -Danni
“Another vendor that I want to recognize is my neighbor, Brandi Harms with Over the Moon Custom Cakes. I came to her with a vision of having our dog, Moose, as Gage’s grooms cake. She surprised us with the most realistic, life-sized cake of our sweet puppy. The cake looked and tasted amazing!” -Danni
