We spent some time working with the beautiful Katie Cook Riley, and we are thrilled with how the shoot turned out! Katie Cook is stunning, so we knew that this shoot would be fun; however, we had no idea that it would take such a unique and creative turn amidst our little town of Oxford, Mississippi. We bounced around The Square, hit up some beautiful historic parts of town, and then finished up at The White Studio. We love the somewhat English vibe that developed throughout the shoot thanks to her cute pup and excellent outfit choices.

Katie Cook is such a bright light, and we loved getting to play a role in documenting her senior year. These seniors are facing some unexpected disappointments throughout all of this sickness. We are making it our goal to bring as much joy and happiness to them throughout this time as we can!

“My favorite high school memory is when I traveled to Orlando to compete with the Oxford Chargerettes Dance Team. We competed and did really well, not to mention we had so much fun in Disney World! So many memories were made on that trip, and I met so many sweet girls from around the nation.” – Katie Cook

“If I could give incoming freshmen one piece of advice, I would tell them to manage their time wisely. Throughout high school, I danced numerous hours a week, along with commuting between Oxford and Tupelo for additional dance classes. As a dedicated student, I took many advanced courses with heavy workloads. I often struggled with getting enough sleep due to all of my homework and dance commitments. Time management is so very important!” – Katie Cook

After graduation, I will be attending Mississippi State University in the fall. I will be in the Shackouls Honors College as well.” – Katie Cook

“Although I have many different ideas of what I want to major in in college, right now, I have chosen to major in Biology with a Spanish minor. Without a doubt, family members with jobs in the health field have inspired me greatly, but I also just enjoy science-related classes. With a biology major, there are so many different concentrations and job paths for me to explore. I have studied Spanish for five years now, and I plan to continue that in college, so I will be readily able to communicate with various patient populations.” – Katie Cook

“Dance plays a significant role in my life. I have danced at Tupelo Academy of Dance Arts since I was three years old, and I have been classically trained en pointe since 5th grade. I also joined the Oxford High Dance Team during my sophomore year of high school, and my senior year, I was elected as a captain. As the end of high school is nearing, it is hard to imagine life without dance.” – Katie Cook
