On February 25, 2017, Meg Stephenson and Austin Burress married in Grace St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Memphis, Tennessee. With a sweet, personal rehearsal dinner at the Memphis Zoo preceding the wedding day, Meg and Austin celebrated with their loved ones.
On the day of the wedding, Meg and Austin shared a sweet “first look” experience in the church.
After the sweet ceremony in the stunning church, guests and the happy couple celebrated at a beautiful reception at The University Club of Memphis. Wedding planner and designer, Mona Dunlap, partnered with White Door Events and the Garden District to transform the tennis courts into a gorgeous tent of draping lights and greenery. Creamy white tulips, peachy roses, and lots of beautiful greenery made for lovely floral arrangements. Sparkling candelabras topped with more flowers made stunning centerpieces for tables surrounded by tufted khaki benches. Guests enjoyed a delicious shrimp and sushi bar catered by the University Club of Memphis. Cakes by Mom and Me created a traditional wedding cake as well as a fun replica of the Tennessee Volunteers football stadium, Neyland Stadium. Guests were entertained all evening by Brennan Villines Music.
Meg’s bridal makeup was styled by Kasey Acuff, and Patrick Ryan Salon gave her a beautiful bridal hairstyle. Her strapless, mermaid-style gown from Maggie Louise Bridal featured a tulle skirt and an embellished sash. Meg wore a long, lacy veil to complement the lace pattern on her gown.
Her bridal party wore identical gowns with sweetheart necklines and dropped sleeves in a flattering pastel shade. The groom and his men wore matching black tuxedos and black bow ties.
