“JC and I met while we were both at Delta State University, although we didn’t start dating until our senior year.” – Lindsey

“I had my grandmother’s handkerchief tucked in my bouquet. We also had pictures of all of our late grandparents and relatives at the wedding. My bracelet was something borrowed. My late aunt’s veil that my grandmother had made for her was incorporated into the flower arrangements on the staircase – I’m named after her. JC’s boutonniere and my bouquet had lilies of the valley incorporated, which are his favorite flowers.” – Lindsey

“I would describe our love as fulfilling, loving, and accepting.” – Lindsey

“JC and I met at Delta State University, and JC had the idea to hand draw our unofficial mascot “the Fighting Okra” on our koozies. Every time we saw them it made us laugh!” – Lindsey

“[Our love] is transparent, supportive, loving, and memorable.” – JC

“JC had planned to propose in March of 2020, however, COVID threw his plans off. While visiting my family in December 2020, JC proposed with the help of my mom and sister. I had told him previously that it was important to me for my family to be there and was thrilled that he made it happen! It was a small and intimate proposal.” – Lindsey

“JC is smart, funny, and loving. I love that he works hard at everything that he does – including our relationship! I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in life.” – Lindsey

“All of our friends and family were so supportive the day of. Everyone made the day as stress free and fun as possible! My twin sister was maid of honor and JC’s step-brother was his best man and they both went above and beyond their duties to make sure everyone was having a great time!” – Lindsey

“We knew we wanted our wedding design to be classic with a modern twist. We looked at Annesdale for inspiration.” – Lindsey

“All of our vendors were fantastic! Sheril Greenstein went above and beyond to make sure our vision came to life and everything ran smoothly the whole weekend!” – Lindsey

“The funniest story I can think of was my step-brother (best man) and I helping my mom get her dress zipped up in the bathroom of Annesdale.  There were some issues with the zipper and we basically had to have her strip down and then we all left laughing at the situation.” – JC

“Neither of us had really planned how we wanted our wedding to be growing up. So, when it came time to plan, we knew we wanted to plan the type of wedding we would love to attend.” – Lindsey

“The time we allocated after the ceremony to be alone with one another to eat and just enjoy the special day together.”  – JC
